Do you remember seeing Jewish people torn from their homes in Gaza in 2005?
This took place because the Israeli government decided to GIVE Gaza to the Arabs. The Israelis assumed that if they gave up some of their land, then the Arabs would be "appeased" and they would stop firing rockets into Israel. Never mind that "land for peace" has never worked.
Do you remember that Katrina formed in the Atlantic at the same time the Jews were forced to leave Gaza in August of 2005? Katrina was a result of the U.S. placing pressure on Israel to give Gaza away.
So the "Palestinians" took over Gaza! For thousands of years this area was called Canaan. In 130 A.D. the Romans named it "Syria-Palestina". And the term "Palestinian" was never used before World War I, and did not become common terminology until after the 1967 Six Day War.
The "Philistines" are ancient Israel's chief enemies.
Well . . . the first thing that happened is that homes were smashed, orchards destroyed, synagogues defiled, etc., etc. Not much of a glorious takeover.
So much for Arabs ruling!
Then, to show their appreciation for having been given all of Gaza, Hamas began firing rockets into Israel, targeting schools and school children, hospitals, and innocent Israeli citizens.
From 2005 until 2009 Israel suffered hundreds and hundreds of rocket attacks from the peaceful "Palestinians" in Gaza. Actually, so many rockets were fired into Israel from Gaza that everyone lost count--- somewhere over 6,400!
For almost five years Israel did not retaliate in any massive strike. It was almost unbelievable that any country would allow such a thing. But Israel kept hoping, hope upon hope, that the rulers of Gaza would police their own people and bring a stop to the rockets.
Instead of stopping, the rocket attacks increased, killing and targeting innocent Jewish people! Of course, everyone with a brain knows that both Hamas and Hezbollah are proxy organizations of Iran, Syria, and Russia.
During these five years the United Nation's Security Counsel remained silent. Not one time did it call for a cease fire. Not one time did it demand that Hamas cease the rocket attacks.
It seemed as though the National Security Counsel had died, or that it did not even exist any more.
But suddenly, as soon as Israel began to defend itself from the attacks by Hamas, the Security Counsel resurrected and demanded that Israel stop the violence!
What a sham the U. N. has become. And our tax dollars, to the tune of more than 3 billion dollars a year is freely "given" to this rotten-to-the-core organization.
The U.N. has condemned Israel 370 times for defending herself; but it has never condemned any of the Arab nations who have attacked her!
And our tax dollars pick up the billions and billions of dollars tab these jerks waste on outlandish salaries and under-the-table payoffs. If we really want change, how about telling the U. N. to hit the road and set up shop elsewhere. Why not let China, Russia, or Saudi Arabia finance the U.N. instead of us? We have to foot the bill; but the U.N. consistently votes for policies that are detrimental to our nation. Obviously, the United Nations despises our success and way of life. Why should Third-World nations make decisions that affect our way of life when their governments don't even provide running water for their people, who still have to carry water on their heads?
Too bad we don't have any politicians with guts any more. To think that the people in Washington represent us is a fantasy wish ---a pipe dream. Our elected officials no more represent us than the man in the moon.
Arab rioters in many nations are telling the major news networks that Israel is to blame for everything. According to Islam, all Jews should be dead. Israel should not exist.
Have you noticed that when Muslims aren't killing Jews or Christians they then kill each other? We all know that Islam is a "peaceful" religion. But suicide bombings all over the world are caused by Muslims. Hmmmmm!
Now the politically-correct-gurus tell us that if all of us would just say "Allah" instead of "God" riots would cease all over the world. Using the term "God" is offensive to Muslims. All we have to do is appease these angry people and their anger will diminish.
Gaza is a very clear example of how well appeasement works!
Gaza is mentioned 19 times in the Bible. Samson killed more than three thousand of the Philistines when he pulled down the pillars of their temple in Gaza. The modern-day "Palestinians" are the same as the Bible's Philistines!
"I will send down fire on the walls of Gaza, and all its fortresses will be destroyed."
The prophecy in Amos 1:7 is literally being fulfilled as I write this article.
Referring specifically to Jerusalem, Zechariah 2:8b declares: "Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession."
Mexico is not firing rockets into the U.S., but the illegals who are entering our country will eventually prove to be worse than rockets. Mark my word!
Oh, yes, those smuggling tunnels in Gaza/Egypt: Israeli scientists have developed a system that will put an end to the tunnels. Called BOTDR (Brillouin optical time-domain reflectometry) technology. Check it out on Google!

Israel’s “Find”
This article just appeared in one of Israel's newspapers, Arutz Sheva.Israel has discovered 1.3 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. This is enough to supply the country with decades of energy.
This discovery could very well transform Israel's economy!
Tamar is the name of the well where the discovery was made. Tamar lies about 80 miles north-northwest of the 1999-2000 Mari-B, Noa, and Nir gas discoveries 15-23 miles off Ashkelon. It is also about 40 miles southeast of Israel's maritime border with Cyprus.
Now Russia has a motivation for invading Israel!
Ezekiel wrote and prophesied, "A long time from now you will be called into action. You and your hordes will roll down on them like a storm and cover the land like a cloud. At that time evil thoughts will come to your mind, and you will think an evil thought. You will say, 'I will go up to the land to take a spoil.'"(See Ez. 38).
Of course, Lebanon is claiming that the gas is hers. Nothing can ever belong to Israel---even The Land.

Israel Discovers Gas!

(IsraelNN.com) The Houston-based Noble Energy company, drilling for Israel’s Delek fuel company, announced that it has discovered a huge deposit of natural gas under the Mediterranean Sea near Haifa.
Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer (Labor) said that the find was of “historic proportions,” and that it could change the face of Israel’s economy.
Eighty-seven billion cubic meters, or nearly 3.1 trillion cubic feet, of high-quality gas are estimated to be in three deposits in the Tamar Drilling site, which is named for Delek owner Yitzchak Teshuva’s granddaughter. Teshuva said that the find marks a “historic milestone and a great holiday for Israel,” and that he has no doubt it will “supply Israel’s energy needs for many decades to come.”

What the
heck happened?????
Who were the Philistines?
The hostility of the Philistines and their war-mongering dates back beyond the Jewish Exodus from Egypt (around 1450 B.C.).
No one is absolutely sure where the Philistines came from, but most scholars agree that they originated from the north coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Caphtor, or the Island of Crete, is a likely place (Amos 9:7).
Deuteronomy 2:23 states, " . . . the Caphtorites from Crete invaded and destroyed the Avvites, who had lived in villages in the area of Gaza."
Jeremiah 47:4 says, " . . . the Lord is destroying the Philistines, those colonists from Crete. The city of Gaza will be demolished."
The Philistines were not "Pirates of the Caribbean", but "Pirates of the Mediterranean". When they arrived on the coast of what is now Israel, they forced a foothold there and invaded the land. These pirates were in power in their new land at least as early as the Exodus (1450 B.C.), Exodus 13:17.
God clearly told the Israelites about the boundaries for their new land.
"I will fix your boundaries from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the southern deserts to the Euphrates River. I will help you defeat the people now living in the land, and you will drive them out ahead of you. Make no treaties with them and have nothing to do with their gods. Do not even let them live among you! If you do, they will infect you with their sin of idol worship, and that would be disastrous for you (Ex. 23:31-32).
Would to God that the Jewish people had obeyed these simple instructions from the Lord. But they did not. The Gaza war with Hamas and the Lebanon War with Hezebolah are the present-day results.
The Philistines have always been a thorn in the side of Israel. During the period of the judges the Philistines dominated five great capitals: Ashdod, Ashkelon, Ekron, Gath, and Gaza. Samson was the man who killed 3,000 of them when he pulled down the pillars in their temple, Judges 16:26-27.
Their disappearance as a nation from history occurred about the time of the conquest of Cyrus of Persia, 600 B.C. But the bloodline never went away. The terrorist tactics of their ancestors remained in their genes. Long before Mohammad was born (570 A.D.) these people were killing, raping, and taking what was not theirs to take.
We don't use the word "Philistine" any more. But we are all familiar with the word "Palestinian", which came into wide usage around 1967. These are, undoubtedly, the same people group. No wonder they are such a thorn in Israel's side.
Most people do not know that the term "Jewish Palestinians" was once a common term. Today this term is certainly not politically correct.
I was visiting with an Arab in Israel recently. He was a "Palestinian". We chatted for several hours and I learned a lot from him by asking him questions and just allowing him to talk.
At one point he made a very interesting statement. He said, "I don't know why we can't get along with the Jews like my ancestors did. My great grandfather lived right next door to Jews and they were very good friends."
Prior to that statement I had asked him the definition of the word "Palestinian". He told me it was anyone who had lived in the Holy Land for hundreds of years.
So, according to his definition, and according to his own admission, Jews had lived in the Holy Land for centuries.
I made my own statement then, "So . . . Jews are "Palestinians", too!"
His immediate response, "Oh, no! Jews can't be "Palestinians."
"But you just told me that the definition of a "Palestinian" is anyone who has lived in the Holy Land for centuries."
He just stared at me for a moment as though a bell had been rung in his head and then exclaimed, "Well . . . I'll have to think about this for a while."
The word "Philistines" is mentioned 255 times in the Bible.

Two ladies in Niles, Ohio got an idea.Instead of smothering their idea, they acted on it.
They took a step of faith and rented a huge billboard. In very large letters they wrote:

They received so many positive responses that now these billboards are in many places across our country.
Let's get behind these women so that next year they can flood the nation with their message.
Almost all Americans are sick and tired of the very, very few people who don't want us to remember Jesus December 25. They don't even want us to say, "Merry Christmas!"
So next year let's say it so loud that they will be drowned out and their voices won't even matter.
The atheists have freedom of speech. And so do we; so let's speak up.

Thousands of American Citizens Killed by Illegals
If you are outraged by the crimes that illegal aliens are perpetrating inside our nation on innocent girls, boys, and adults, then you must go to the website below for details.

The Night Cometh
Our country has just elected one of the most liberal Presidents in the history of our nation. So the people got what they wanted. Even our very conservative state of Indiana overwhelmingly voted for him.
But we still have several very powerful weapons at our disposal (2 Cor. 10:4), and if we know what is good for us we had better use them: PRAYER and SPEAKING THE TRUTH!
It is possible that in the near future God’s people will have to break the laws of our land in order to obey Him. Example from Scripture: “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29).
Homosexuality is a blatant sin against God and one of the sins that takes a person as far away from the Lord as he can get. It also brings a curse upon any nation that allows this filthy practice (who are the perverts spreading AIDS in our country?). Anyone remember what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah?
“Do not practice homosexuality; it is a detestable sin.” See Lev. 18:22.
Check out Romans 1:26-31, too. The day is fast approaching when it will be considered a “hate crime” in our nation to even read what the Bible says about this topic.
Abortion is a crime against a group of people who have no defense. Our nation has dressed up and hidden the horror of this wicked practice by using terms like “abortion” and “partial-birth abortion”. These two terms, respectively mean: Killing a baby in its mother’s womb, and, Murdering a baby while it is being born.
“Partial-birth abortion” is an aberration. In real practice the “doctor”, who has taken the Hippocratic oath to respect the sanctity of human life, pokes a sharp scissors into the baby’s brain as the baby is exiting the mother’s birth canal. Even animals are not this cruel.

Estimates now range from 50 million to 70 million infants slaughtered in the United States of America.
Freedom, as we have known it, will quickly slip away. We will be “free” to chant and recite the correct political phrases, but if we really say what we are thinking, then look out! Sarah Palin is still being crucified by our liberal press and the Washington crowd, and the election is over. Joe the Plumber had his life threatened because he exercised his freedom and asked Obama a simple question.
Obama plans to create an organization called Civilian National Security Force, CNSF. You will be hearing a lot more about the CNSF in the near future. This organization will have power over the State Police, the Sheriff department, and our local police. What will you do when they come to get your guns?
Can you believe that Obama wants to create a secret police state that will be larger than the Marines, Army, Air Force, and Navy combined? Where will the funding come from and who will command such an organization. And . . . is such an organization even constitutional?
I imagine that those selected to serve in the CNSF will be about as bright as government workers in the TSA who check our luggage and papers at the airport.
I recently flew with two of my grandchildren to Seattle. When the TSA officer looked at my driver’s license, and then at my 13-year old, and 12-year old granddaughters, he asked (and he was not kidding), “Which one is Wesley Smith?”
I answered, “The grown man whose picture you are looking at on my driver’s license.” Olivia, Julia and I could barely keep from howling with laughter! We are still talking about it and telling our friends. Too bad he was not home-schooled like they are.
And these are the people responsible for our safety when we fly?!What will we do when Home-Schooling is against the law?
Can you imagine a jeep load of CNSF officers with the same I.Q. as the TSA folks driving up to your house to confiscate guns---or Bibles?
“Just doing what we have to do, sir! We will give you $300 for each of your guns TODAY. If we have to come back tomorrow we will forcibly take your guns and you will be imprisoned for resisting a Federal Officer!"
So, yes, these are very exciting times.
While the world was focusing on the election process in America (did you notice that there was “no news” for the past three months?) During this news-blackout-time, Syria brought tanks and military weapons to the Golan Heights’ border, Hezbollah has mobilized its army in Lebanon claiming that Israel has stolen their land, and even Egypt is conducting military maneuvers in and on the Sinai. So Israel is completely surrounded by people who want to erase this small country off the face of the map.
Believe me, the Arabs know that Israel has lost its best friend!
Oh, yes, a side note: Russia has opened and is operating a huge nuclear naval military base in Tartus, Syria, on the Mediterranean Sea. This base is about 150 miles from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem!
Ever hear about “The Bear From The North” coming down? He is already “down” (Ezek. 38:15).
So what to do?
The same thing that Full Life Crusade has been doing for the past 44 years! Pray and spread the gospel to the four corners of the earth. “Reaching Out to the World” will be our theme until we are raptured or imprisoned. But even in prison we can pray like the Chinese believers are now praying.
Heads up, my friends. When all these things begin to take place, look up, your redemption draweth nigh!
